With sights set on another strong showing at the Nov. 1-3 state tournament at Orlando's Boardwalk Bowl Entertainment Center, area bowlers are putting up big numbers. Anthony Poggione rolled a 471 series to lead Lyman (8-0) to a 2,560 to 2,462 win against Winter Springs (6-1) in a matchup of boys unbeatens last week. The Bears' Otto Collins rolled a career-high 279 game that included 9 consecutive strikes in the loss. Circle Christian (7-0) standout Rohde Barter bowled a 278 in a 676 three-game series.
