The Florida High School Athletic Association served as a mediator Thursday morning to resolve a scheduling issue and help settle on a date, time and place for the Jones vs. Oviedo high school football playoff game.The No. 2-ranked Tigers (9-2) will host No. 3 Oviedo (10-1) in a Class 3M (Metro) Region 1 semifinal Saturday at 10 a.m. It's one of three area playoff games scheduled for that day. The others will be played at night.Hurricane Nicole postponements last week forced Oviedo to play its region quarterfinal on Monday, which eliminated Friday as a game-day option.
