A Florida community outside of Orlando is going to be a lot quieter now that Fred the rooster is no longer with us. Fred's owner, Emma Reichert, said 'he was loved by so many' in Historic Oviedo, Florida. Reichert took the rooster in five years ago after somebody dumped him outside of her small business, My Oviedo Store. 'He never left, so he picked me,' she said. And the town picked him. Fred was no ordinary rooster. He has stickers, coloring books and artwork made in his honor. 'He was very symbolic of what our town is known for, right? Oviedo is known for having chickens in their downtown.
